GET TO KNOW - Teresa Bennett - 3rd Grade

Mrs. Teresa Bennett is in her 8th year of teaching with 13 total years in education under her belt. Mrs. Bennett attended and graduated from WTAMU. She started her education in nursing and then switched to Education so she could have the same scheduled days off as her three children. 

Her goals for her classroom are to help her students have success in 3rd grade and learn how to verbalize their thinking using Number Talks and Kagan strategies.

Mrs. Teresa Bennett is originally from Spearman. Her husband's name is Lawrence and they have been married for 30 years. They have three children whom they are very proud of!  Travis, who is an Army veteran, Tori who has completed her Associates in Education and has a side hustle in photography, and Trevor who is a Reserve in the Marine Corps.

One interesting fact about Mrs. Bennett is that in all of the years she has been an educator, she has always taught 3rd grade.
