GET TO KNOW - Dawn Fletcher - 1st Grade
Dawn Fletcher has been teaching for 41 years at Wright Elementary. She is a fantastic teacher for all students at Wright Elementary. She was born in Dallas but raised in California. Her father was in the navy so she moved around within California most of her childhood. Her family landed in Oklahoma after her father retired from the navy. She graduated high school in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Fletcher then attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma where she met her husband Keith. She has three beautiful children. Tabatha, Brady and Keaton. Tabatha and Brady are in education in Perryton and Keaton is finishing his fourth year of medical school. He will graduate in May. Mrs. Fletcher has five grandchildren, Kennedee, Brycen, Braelynn, Waylon and Brooklynn.
Mrs. Fletcher graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in Education. Her goal for this year is to have her students be successful in math and science and have fun doing it. A fun fact about Mrs. Fletcher is that she is double jointed, before she broke both of her wrists she could bend her fingers all the way back and touch her hand.
