GET TO KNOW - Leigh Ann Finney - 2nd Grade
Leigh Ann Finney is a Wright Roper through and through. She has worked at Wright Elementary for 37 years. She grew up in Follett and attended college at West Texas State University. She married her husband Allen and they have three children, Ali who lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband Ryan, Bryan who lives in McKinney, TX with his wife Allyson and son Warren, and Darren who lives in Dumas, TX.

Mrs. Finney completed her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a reading concentration. She has a passion for teaching and her goal for this year is to to build a love of reading and a love of learning in each child. An interesting fact about Mrs. Finney is that of her 37 years at Wright Elementary, 35 of those years have been in the same classroom.
