GET TO KNOW - Cortney Winegarner - 1st Grade

Cortney Winegarner is a veteran teacher at Wright Elementary in the middle of her 15th year as a Wright Roper. Mrs. Winegarner graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies EC-4. She was born and raised in Perryton. After meeting her husband Keith in Lubbock, the couple decided to move back to Perryton. Mrs. Winegarner stays busy with her three boys Jackson, Jace, and Tate. The Winegarner family attends the First United Methodist Church where Mrs. Winegarner enjoys teaching Sunday school. Her favorite thing to do is hanging out with family and friends and following her boys playing sports.

A goal that Mrs. Winegarner has set for her classroom this year is to have her students become the best readers they possibly can be. Mrs. Winegarner comes from a big family and even has a twin sister that lives in Denver. Thank you Mrs. Winegarner for the hard work you put in for the students at Wright Elementary each and every day.
