GET TO KNOW - Donna Wright - Second Grade

Donna is a wonderful second-grade teacher. She grew up in Plainview and has been married to her husband Monte for almost 30 years. Her daughter, Kylie, is married to Ryan Garr and is also an educator, teaching kindergarten in Plano ISD. Her son, Drew, is a junior Mechanical Engineering student at Oklahoma State University. One of Mrs. Wright's favorite things to do is travel with her family to Disney World and Disneyland.

Mrs. Wright has a BBA in Accounting from Wayland Baptist. She worked as an admissions counselor for 7 years as she completed her Master's Degree in Education. She realized that she enjoyed working with and teaching little ones instead of manipulating numbers in the accounting profession. Her goal for this school year is to provide a safe, fun, and consistent environment where students will enjoy learning.

Mrs. Wright has worked at Wright Elementary for 15 years and we are so lucky to have her. Thank you for all you do Mrs. Wright.
